We believe this commitment to terroir and a respect of our natural resources produce wines that are pure & distinctive of Red Mountain. The characteristics of Hedges Family Estate Three Vineyards have dark concentrated aromas & flavors of blackberry, plum with hints of licorice. Farming is in our blood. Our parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all made their living working the land. Eastern Washington is in our blood. We came here as young children and have always called it home. When we planted our first vines in 1997 we were entering uncharted territory. Sleeping Dog Wines is located outside of Benton City, Washington, on a south-facing slope above the Yakima River, and just a short 15 minute drive east from Prosser.
